A call to arms to counter the broken AI of Yelp!

Many of you are Yelpers. We know this because it’s you we have to thank for our 142 5-star reviews. However, take a closer look at our Yelp! page and you’ll only see 54 reviews. The rest are hidden - deemed “not recommended”. What’s more, if you’d checked a couple of months ago you would have seen 108 5-star reviews so you might be thinking “why the plummeting 5-star ratings?” The answer is Yelp’s “new” algorithm, which has week by week removed dozens of genuine, relevant and helpful reviews of Artifex Firearms Training. Complaining to them is utterly pointless. They have become a law unto themselves, and the response is simply another AI-generated product, extolling the virtues of the new algorithm and singing the praises of Yelp! in general.

The answer, then, is to play Yelp! at their own game and test their algorithm with an en masse bloc of reviews from actual clients, who have taken actual classes, and who have genuine feedback to give. Faced with such an ingress of reviews, the result should be that each and every one gets published; if not, then Yelp! will set themselves up for a class-action lawsuit with very little to defend themselves with.

Help us re-establish your lost reviews by posting a review once again, or updating your old one. In doing so your voice will be heard, and you’ll be politely telling Yelp! where they can stick their logo.
